The vitamin layer
Vitamin B1 (thiamine), 6 mg
Thiamine helps cells turn glucose into energy. The brain uses a large share of the body's glucose, which is why thiamine is closely linked to normal nerve and brain function. Most people get enough from food, but intake can be low in people who drink alcohol regularly or eat a lot of refined carbohydrates.
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), 8.5 mg
B6 is needed to make several neurotransmitters, including serotonin, dopamine and GABA. 8.5 mg is well above the Daily Value but well below the adult upper limit set by health authorities, so it is a supportive rather than extreme dose.
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), 24 mcg
B12 keeps nerve cells healthy and helps form red blood cells. Absorption from food tends to drop with age, and low B12 is one of the known causes of tiredness and poor concentration that doctors check for. Methylcobalamin is an active form of the vitamin.
The 151 mg blend
Caffeine from green coffee bean
The most familiar ingredient on the label. Caffeine blocks adenosine, a chemical that builds up during the day and makes you feel sleepy, which is why it improves alertness and reaction time in the short term. The label does not state the exact amount; since the whole blend is 151 mg, the caffeine content is lower than that figure.
L-Tyrosine
An amino acid the body uses to make dopamine and noradrenaline. It is popular in focus formulas because these messengers can run low during stress, sleep loss or multitasking.
Theacrine and theobromine
Theacrine is found in a type of Chinese tea, and theobromine is the main stimulant-like compound in cocoa. Both are chemical relatives of caffeine and are often added for a smoother, longer-lasting feeling of energy.
Bacopa monnieri (20% bacosides)
A creeping herb used in traditional Ayurvedic practice for memory. Its active compounds are called bacosides, and standardizing to 20% helps ensure consistency. Human studies on bacopa typically last 8 to 12 weeks and use a few hundred milligrams a day, so patience matters.
Rhodiola rosea root
An adaptogen from cold, high-altitude regions, traditionally used to help people cope with physical and mental fatigue. It is usually taken in the morning because some people find it mildly energizing.
Huperzia serrata (1% huperzine-A)
Huperzine-A comes from Chinese club moss. It slows the breakdown of acetylcholine, a messenger involved in learning and memory. Because this is a real pharmacological effect, it should not be combined with medicines that act on acetylcholine without a doctor's advice.
How the ingredients fit together
The formula combines quick-acting ingredients (caffeine, theacrine, L-tyrosine) with slower, cumulative ones (bacopa, huperzine-A, B vitamins). In practice that means some people feel a lift on the first day, while any memory support is more likely to build over weeks of daily use.
